Early in February I launched Jennifer Compton’s book of poetry Now You Shall Know, published by Five Islands Press. The launch took place in Kris Hemensley’s Collected Works bookshop in Melbourne, which is perhaps the only large specialist poetry bookshop in the Anglophone world. Collected Works is in Swanston Street on the first floor of the Nicholas Building, which was completed in 1926 for the Nicholas family of Aspro fame.
