It’s an irony that the late Bruno Ganz, a fine actor whose riveting turn as Adolf Hitler in Downfall made that film, will be remembered not for the body of his work but for the thousands of YouTube parodies inspired by one of the movie’s final scenes. Quite a few are funny, others no better than a typical ABC comedy, which is to say not funny in the least.
